8/24/11 Updates!

Updates:

I haven't recieved coaching logs from; Dylan, Eileen, and Sam. 
Please turn this in by Friday.

Injury Updates:

- Caroline Dodds is still nursing a sore back.  Please don't allow her to take any weight from the ground or swing a kettlebell.

-  Marty Kenny is still recovering from a shoulder injury.  When you see him in class and there is a shoulder heavy wod planned, please offer him some alternatives.

If any of you know of other injuries we should all be aware of, please post them here!


Coaches Meeting:

I would like to hold a coaches meeting.  In this meeting, we will focus on part 2 of our coaching protocols and procedures series.  Topics that will be covered will be:
-  Cueing / Coaching the O-lifts
- Contraindications for CrossFit
- Membership pricing and incentives for coaches
-  Open forum

I feel that it is best that we hold this meeting on a Saturday or Sunday.  I would like to schedule this meeting for 2 weekends from this weekend.  please indicate which day you would prefer and if that weekend will work.  Based on majority, we will schedule from there.

  2. Sunday would be better cuz im usually working after Sat morning workout.. so unless its later in the afternoon saturday, Sunday funday is better :)

  3. I'm a big if on weekends til end of october. My son has a tournament every weekend. I'll do my best to make it whenever it is scheduled.

    And yes, jason had been told no weights, kettlebells or ghd's until next week at least.

    If you know an athlete has a persistent injury that they need continued modification, please advise a PT evaluation. Thanks.
